Beautiful hotel perfectly situated to enjoy the town. The rooms and baths are huge, clean, and very tastefully decorated. For me, it was an unexpected, oh wow, experience. Parking is on the street and was no issue. There are plenty of spaces and no crime in the area. The price is amazing. The one potential issue would be the lack of an elevator. If the first floor is booked, you'll have to take the gorgeous stairs. Extra points, a lot of extra points, for providing a real coffee pot with fresh ground coffee that doesn't come in a plastic bag and big porcelain mugs to drink it from.

The beautiful mix of old with modern The a/c that was quiet and worked well The amazing bed, linens and towels The full size coffee maker (so nice to get away from one-cup pods and paper cups!) The location….we walked everywhere Free parking in a safe lot a block away The welcoming foyer The cleanliness The tranquility of an adults-only hotel Self check-in with key code I could go on, but then the review would be too long!

This hotel is steeped in history and absolutely stunning!!! The Chandler exceeded our expectations. It was gorgeous, accommodating, VERY clean, had a great vibe, made checking in and checking out a breeze, help was only a text away and it was one of my most favorite hotel stays in the U.S.... and I have stayed in TONS of superb hotels.

The hotel is in a great location. Close to Main St and the river. Centrally located to just about everything you'd want or need in Madison. The room was clean and well done, the common areas were also great. We will definitely be staying here again.

The town of Madison is fairly small so the location was perfect. Within walking distance to the river front, shopping and restaurants. The atmosphere of the hotel was wonderful in keeping the authentic features of an old factory but with the new features of a boutique hotel. The furnishings, wall coverings, and amenities all set the atmosphere.

If I were to open a hotel this is exactly what I would want to do - a brilliant use of the earlier structure, beautifully done with a real eye for design and details. Wonderfully comfortable whilst not changing for features that are rarely ever used - no need for a reception desk or staff, so everyone saves money!

Very convenient location, comfortable accommodations, and love the contactless check-in. Very similar to checking in to an Airbnb, or Vrbo. Also loved the common area downstairs. It was very conducive for visiting with family, while in town.

We loved it! Definitely will return. The atmosphere was amazing. Quick walks to anything you need. Safe. We enjoyed reading on the roof top. We were in the midnight on Madison room and it was beautiful. We can’t stop raving about our experience.

The Chandler Hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was decorated beautifully, and the lobby was lovely. The owner was kind and welcoming. Got to see the upcoming lower wing that will be opening soon. Our next visit to Madison we will be staying @ The Chandler Hotel.

The Lobby was just wonderful, we enjoyed the selection of vinyls available to create good mood. Room was comfortable. Very good dripped coffee included. Good tips where to in the city.
